Commercial aerospace will continue to decline going into next year. One Connecticut prime has already began laying off hundreds of workers. In their supply chain, small “mom and pop” shops that provided machined parts, some for many many years, are poised to fail. As these shops scramble to pay the bills, I’m sure questions of viability are being considered.
Does it make sense to take out a loan or use government $ to tread water, hoping for a return to some semblance of normal, or sell – while there is still a chance of getting a fair price?
